The CT Fusion reached the end of their championship road on Sunday night.

Playing in the championship game of United Women’s Soccer for the first time, the Fusion were handcuffed by the Santa Clarita Blue Heat, 5-0, at Round Rock Multipurpose Complex in Round Rock, Texas.

It was the second UWS title for the Blue Heat, which capped an undefeated season with a dominant performance. They limited CT Fusion to just one shot on target in the final.
