We'll start by saying that Connecticut high school soccer, hopefully, looks far more normal when August 2021 rolls around.
This past year didn't include state tournaments, teams played regionalized competition and the worry of delays and cancellations always loomed. Those factors, of course, were a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Through that forward-thinking lens, we're taking a way-early stock of players that should define the CIAC's landscape in 2021. The below 25 players, who span the entire state, are the go-to names that will lead scouting reports and headlines next fall.
The likes of Daniel Hand forward Scott Testori (UConn commit), Hall forward Evan Jones (Holy Cross commit) and Plainville midfielder Pat Gryczewski (Hartford commit) are all moving on to Division I futures. Perhaps these Connecticut-based talents will soon join them.
