To say the least, Division III soccer in New England is robust and thriving. Look no further than Tufts winning four national titles in the last six years, or how two other NESCAC programs – Amherst and Connecticut College – also lead the pace.
As established as those programs are – plus those in the NEWMAC, Little East, GNAC, Commonwealth Coast Conference and others – many local standouts head beyond New England to play D-III soccer. They often land at high-academic schools, looking for a college soccer experience beyond the region they've long known.
