Maggie Cochran has always been driven to be the best soccer player she can be – both figuratively and literally.
Cochran, a junior at Cape Elizabeth (Maine) High School, travels two hours from southern Maine to practice with FC Stars. Before she joined the club this summer, she used to drive even further south into Massachusetts to play for NEFC in the now-defunct U.S. Soccer Development Academy.
The early mornings and long trips are definitely a grind for Cochran, and she knows she couldn’t do it alone.
