Caitlin Farrell saves best season for last at Georgetown

Choate Rosemary Hall coach Rick Koczak has trouble finding the words to describe Caitlin Farrell’s final season at Georgetown.

“What a year Caitlin has had, huh?” Koczak asks. “Wow, I’m just blown away. Just, wow.”

Koczak is not alone because Farrell’s scoring explosion has made her one of the top strikers in the nation. The Wallingford, Conn., native has 18 goals and three assists through 24 games, good for fourth-most points in the country. She more than doubled her production levels from 2017.

Her 17th goal came in a 1-0 victory over Butler in the Big East championship game...
