Brown alum Jeff Larentowicz keeps remarkable career going in Atlanta

There were no expectations attached to Jeff Larentowicz when he left Brown University and joined the New England Revolution in 2005.

Larentowicz arrived at the ideal time, but he lived on the fringes for that rookie season. His successes in Providence, R.I., and his willingness to toil every day provided him with a chance to impress as a reserve player in that first season. He turned out in the now-defunct reserve league and tried to figure out a way to make his mark and secure his MLS future.
