Brockton FC United advance to UPSL National Finals: “We dare to dream”

By Blaise SieferJanuary 3, 2021

Brockton FC United

Herminio Furtado dares to dream big about Brockton FC United.

The Massachusetts-based amateur team is off to a fast start since its inception in 2018, winning the United Premier Soccer League (USPL) East Region title with a 2-1 victory over NY Contour United on Dec. 13. They’re now heading to the UPSL National Finals, which are scheduled for March 5-7 in Atlanta.

“As a club, we set out to dominate soccer in Massachusetts,” said Furtado, the head coach and founder of Brockton FC. “The East is a really difficult region to win, so we’re really happy to have accomplished this goal.”
