New head coach Brad Hosey hoping to turn Becker College around

When it comes to Division 3 men’s soccer in New England, Becker has spent the last decade or so far down the pecking order, failing to record a winning season since 2010. The Hawks also haven’t won the New England College Conference since 2008, as power has lately shifted to Newbury and Mitchell.

Becker, based out of Leicester, Mass., is hoping that pattern will change with the hiring of Brad Hosey as head coach. Hosey has taken over from Jeff Hallenbeck, who’s now head coach at Hilbert in Hamburg, N.Y.

Hosey knows the reality of the project that lies ahead, but it’s also a challenge he’s eager to accept.
