After eight months, the end of the Development Academy's regular season is right around the corner. One final weekend of action remains for some clubs, then all focus turns to Oceanside, Calif.
That's the site of the Summer Showcase and Playoffs, which are held June 17-25. The event offers nationwide competition and vast college recruiting opportunities.
Ahead of those games, New England Soccer Journal has named its U-19 Best XI across the region's five DA clubs: Beachside, Boston Bolts, New England Revolution, Oakwood and Seacoast United.
The team is organized in a 4-3-3 formation, featuring players who are longtime DA participants and others who are relatively new to the landscape. The majority will play college soccer this coming fall.
