The halfway point of the 2017-18 Development Academy season in New England has arrived, following early December’s Winter Showcase down in Lakewood Ranch, Florida.
As things stand, local boys DA sides are in contention for playoff spots, but the greater point of emphasis – as the league’s name suggests – focuses on progression.
Mindful of that, the below U-17 and U-19 players from the New England Revolution, Oakwood, Beachside, Seacoast and the Bolts have emerged as some of the region’s top DA players. Some are committed to top Division 1 programs, while others, especially the younger ones, are still weighing their futures along the collegiate path. When warranted, a couple U-15 players are mentioned, too.
