When Division I men’s soccer teams return to action during the Spring 2021 semester, Boston Bolts-developed players will be among those carrying the New England flag.
Some of the region’s top D-I players annually progress through the Bolts, making a profound impact at the next level. Now, expect more of the same in the coming months.
A quick caveat: Ivy League teams aren’t competing this spring due to the COVID-19 pandemic, so you’ll see several Bolts alumni omitted for that reason. Under normal circumstances, players like Brown goalkeeper James Swomley (Newton, Mass.), Harvard midfielder Ben Bryant (Brookline, Mass.) and Cornell forward Matthew Goncalves (Everett, Mass.) would be helping to lead the charge.
Sorted in alphabetical order, here are 10 Bolts alumni to watch for at D-I schools this spring.
