Tufts has its first Class of 2021 recruit under new head coach Kyle Dezotell.
Boston Bolts academy forward Ben Verner (Acton, Mass.) verbally committed to the back-to-back Division III national champions earlier this week, giving the Jumbos a speedy and hard-working building block in the final third.
Verner had some other D-III options and Division I looks, but was ultimately drawn to the academic and athletic structure of competing in the NESCAC.
