Since arriving in the Northeast two years ago, Mateo Rodriguez (Mexico City, Mexico) has cemented his place as one of the region’s top center backs.

A captain for the U-19 team at Black Rock FC Residential Academy | Northwood School, Rodriguez’s biggest accolades include an Allstate All-American nod and playing in the High School Soccer All-American Game.

All that momentum has paid off for Rodriguez, who formally committed to Ivy League program Cornell earlier this week for the Class of 2020.
