Best of 2021: Revisiting some of the year’s most memorable games

If you love edge-of-your-seat, drama-filled matches, the 2021 fall soccer season was right up your alley.

It was a welcome and refreshing few months after the autumn of 2020 left a void for soccer-lovers throughout New England.

At all levels, there were nail-biters galore, including some in high-pressure contests with championship trophies on the line. By the time the season wrapped up earlier this month, there was no shortage of great moments.

Before we celebrate the new year and turn the calendar to 2022, here are the matches we at the NESJ pegged as the games of the year across different levels this fall.
