Berkshire clear No. 1 in coaches poll as NEPSAC tournament begins

The NEPSAC tournament field is set, and so is our last coaches poll of the regular season.

There's no surprise to see regional powerhouse Berkshire at the top, plus several other Class A teams that routinely vie for the title. What does stand out, though, is what our anonymous coaches poll says of the Class B tournament seedings this year.

It was surprising, to say the least, to see Owen Finberg's South Kent team seeded No. 4 in Class B, especially since its sole loss came to Berkshire. Their final landing spot and several other results offer some intrigue ahead of Wednesday's first-round games.
