Another coaching change is coming to NEPSAC Class A boys soccer, with Carl Stensland (Storrs, Conn.) returning to his home state to lead Avon Old Farms.
The Winged Beavers’ current head coach, Joe Martinez, is heading to Groton School at the end of the academic year for family reasons. Dave Pedreschi is expected to remain the Zebras' head coach.
Stensland, who will also teach science at the all-boys school in Avon, Conn., comes from Mercersburg Academy. He’s taught science and coached soccer at the co-ed school in Pennsylvania since 2016.
