Given his background, Andres Jasson (Greenwich, Conn.) carries weighty expectations at Yale, the defending Ivy League champions.

Glance at the freshman's résumé and you’ll quickly understand why: Jasson, while developing in New York City FC’s academy program, won consecutive U-19 national championships and a Generation adidas Cup Premier Division title in 2017.

On a personal level, the winger/attacking midfielder was named the 2019 NYCFC Academy Player of the Year and earned the Golden Boot during the 2019 DA playoffs. He also represented the U.S. at the 2019 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Brazil.
