One of the biggest springtime questions around the University of Vermont men’s soccer team was who could replace Rasmus Tobinski at forward, with the German transferring out to Florida International University.

The answer, in part, has been Revolution Academy product Alex Nagy (Bow, N.H.), a midfielder who’s deployed in what head coach Rob Dow calls the “Firmino role,” referencing Liverpool FC and Brazil national team striker Roberto Firmino.

The solution paid off in Thursday night's 1-0 America East semifinal win over NJIT, with Nagy heading home in the 8th minute off a cross from wingback Garrett Lillie (York, Maine).
