The college soccer career of Connecticut College goalkeeper AJ Marcucci has come to a close, as the NESCAC season cancellation ensured that he’s played his final game for the Division III program.

Marcuccui, who’s from outside of Philadelphia, plans to graduate this winter and possibly enter the MLS SuperDraft.

The NESCAC-to-professional jump can be lofty, though the rising senior is full of confidence. He’s twice earned First Team All-America honors and was named the NESCAC Player of the Year in 2018, among other recognitions.
