Buckingham, Browne & Nichols coach Kaeghan Kelly has known Thomas Angelone since he played U-11 and U-12 for Kelly at Global Premier Soccer.
After the season Angelone just posted last fall, it’s safe to say every NEPSAC coach knows him now.
Angelone emerged as arguably the best underclassman in the Independent School League (ISL) last fall, if not one of the top forwards overall. The sophomore tallied 30 points and 13 goals, good for third and second-best in the conference, respectively. Angelone’s excellence in one-on-one situations earned him an All-ISL honorable mention nod and helped the Knights post a winning record.
Angelone said he pictured having success at the prep level before the season. Once he overcame a slow start and found the back of the net a few times, he settled into his role.
